In a memorandum submitted to the Minister in Bengaluru on Wednesday, Mr. Umar said that Konkani and Tulu have been introduced as the third optional language from Class 6.
Earlier too, the Academy had appealed to the government for introducing Beary as the third optional language in schools, the president said in a release, adding that the Minister responded positively to the appeal.
