Vizag students exhibit 150 charcoal portraits of Sardar Patel in Ahmedabad, celebrating his 150th birth anniversary through art.
Students of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Visakhapatnam, mounted an art exhibition in Ahmedabad to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The exhibition, featuring 150 charcoal drawings, was held at the Urmila Art Gallery, Kanoria Centre for Arts. Students from class IV to X presented interpretations of Patel’s life and legacy. The exhibition was inaugurated on April 7 by Kartikeya Sarabhai, environmental educationist, in the presence of art patrons and students. The initiative, part of the school’s Art Club, aims to encourage creative learning and engagement with history. The exhibition concluded on April 9.
