Princilla Cardoza from The Learning Centre PU College, Mangaluru, the topper from the Science stream with 599 marks, said her preparation was more focused on the IIT-JEE main. “I want to pursue B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence or Computer Science in NITK Surathkal and hence focused more on JEE Main,” said Ms. Cardoza, who secured 98.8 percentile in the JEE Main first session. She said she did well in the second session held few days ago.
“In between, during class tests and unit tests, I prepared for the PU examination. A month after JEE first session was devoted for II PU exam preparation,” she said. Ms. Cardoza is the youngest of the two daughters of Benadict Prakash D’Souza, who works in Saudi Arabia and homemaker Jacintha Cardoza. Ms. Cardoza passed out class 10 from Mount Carmel CBSE School, Mangaluru.

Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) chief coordinator Seeman on Thursday said the upcoming Assembly elections would witness a contest between two sides — one that had long been a source of problem for public and other that had come forward to resolve them. Addressing the people at the election campaign organised in Nagercoil, he said the real competition was between these two sides, and appealed the people to support to NTK candidates, noting that they had come forward to resolve the issues affecting the people across various sectors such as medicine, teaching and sanitation.
