The three-day Automation Expo South 2026, organised by IED Communications Limited, was inaugurated at the Chennai Trade Centre on Thursday.
Dharmendra Pratap Yadav, Chairman and Managing Director (MD) of the Tamil Nadu Small Industries Corporation Limited and chief guest at the inaugural, spoke on the State’s strong industrial ecosystem and skilled workforce. Haranjan Jan Singh, MD and senior economic officer and head of the Ontario Trade and Investment Offices representing the Canadian province and guest of honour, referred to Tamil Nadu as one of the leading States in industrial development, which attracted major investments. Jyothi Joseph, director, IED Communications Limited, was present.
