Teacher seeks treatment from ex-student, doctor calls it her biggest reward
India Today
Dr Pratibha Nikhar Juneja shares a heartfelt account of treating her former medical college teacher, describing the moment as both special and deeply meaningful.
Some moments quietly define a career; like the day a teacher returns, not to teach, but to trust. For Dr Pratibha Nikhar Juneja, that moment arrived when her former HOD walked into her clinic as a patient.
Dr Juneja shared a heartfelt video on Instagram, recounting the emotional experience of treating her former mentor, Dr. B. D. Gupta, who had served as the Head of the Forensic Medicine department during her medical college years. What made the moment truly special was not just the reunion, but the quiet trust it symbolised.
In her caption, Dr Juneja described how her teacher, someone from whom she once learned the foundations of medicine, had now placed his faith in her abilities as a doctor.
“The person from whom I once learned medicine, today trusted me with his health,” she wrote, reflecting on the weight and beauty of that role reversal. For many professionals, especially in fields like medicine, such moments carry an emotional depth that goes beyond routine success.

After Pakistan signed the Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement with Saudi Arabia, it was obligated to help Riyadh amid Iranian drone and missile strikes in the Middle East. When Saudi Arabia needed military help and assurances, Pakistan carried out intensive bombing in Afghanistan to signal that it was already caught up in a war.

The US shared a video of strikes on Iran, with US Central Command saying its forces continue to "hunt and destroy" threats, as the conflict with Iran enters its third week. The escalation comes alongside Israeli claims of targeting top Iranian figures and Tehran's call for global condemnation of the US-Israeli attacks.

The UAE has faced the most intense barrage of Iranian attacks among the Gulf countries since the US-Israel war on Tehran began. Civilian and business infrastructure in Dubai and other hubs have been targeted. But why has the UAE been targeted more than its Gulf neighbours? Here's what's driving Iran's aggression against it.

Israel shared a photo of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordering strikes on Iran's leadership, even as authorities pushed back against viral but unverified claims about his death. The post comes amid escalating hostilities with Iran and a parallel information war marked by misinformation and official rebuttals.
