SPMVV in Tirupati achieves ISO certification, highlighting its commitment to quality education, efficient administration, and continuous improvement.
Sri Padmavati Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam (SPMVV) has achieved ISO certification in recognition of its commitment to quality education, efficient administration, and continuous improvement.
SPMVV Vice-Chancellor Uma Vennam received the renewed certificates from HYM International Certifications Private Limited managing director Alapati Sivaiah, who studied the best practices, transparency of procedures and commitment to quality during his visit.
While emphasising the varsity’s continued efforts to adhere to innovation, inclusivity and academic distinction, Ms. Uma called the certificate a testament to the collective efforts of the faculty, staff and students.
According to the Registrar R. Usha, the certificates include ISO 21001:2018 for educational organisation management system, ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management system, ISO 50001:2018 for energy management system, academic administrative audit certification for providing quality education and Q5 Star quality rating certificate for providing educational services.
SPMVV IQAC Director T. Tripura Sundari added that the varsity’s DST-CURIE laboratory got the first ever ISO/IEC 17025:2005 certification in the discipline of nanomaterial testing from Global Accreditation Services Inc., USA.
