
Special train services between Yesvantpur in Bengaluru and Talguppa near Shivamogga for Sirsi Marikamba Devi Jatra Mahotsava

Special train services announced for Sirsi Marikamba Devi Jatra Mahotsava between Yesvantpur and Talguppa, enhancing passenger travel options.
South Western Railway (SWR) will operate a one-trip special express train between Yesvantpur in Bengaluru and Talguppa in Shivamogga district of Karnataka to handle the rush of passengers for the Sirsi Marikamba Devi Jatra Mahotsava.
Train No. 06587 Yesvantpur–Talguppa Express Special will depart from Yesvantpur at 10.45 p.m. on February 27, and arrive at Talguppa at 5:05 a.m. on February 28.
In the return direction, Train No. 06588 Talguppa–Yesvantpur Express Special will depart from Talguppa at 9.30 a.m. on February 28 and arrive at Yesvantpur at 5.15 p.m. on the same day.
The special train will have stoppages at Tumakuru, Tiptur, Arsikere, Birur Jn, Tarikere, Bhadravati, Shivamogga Town, Konagavalli Halt, Harnahalli Halt, Kumsi, Arasalu Halt, Kenchanalu Halt, Anandapuram, Adderi Halt and Sagara Jambagaru stations in both directions.
The special train will consist of 20 coaches comprising 1 First Class-cum-AC 2-Tier, 2 AC 3-Tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 5 General Second Class, and 2 SLR/D coaches.
South Western Railway (SWR) has decided on temporary extension of Train Nos. 16581/16582 Yesvantpur–Shivamogga Town–Yesvantpur Tri-weekly Express up to Talaguppa for one day to handle the rush of passengers for the Marikamba Devi Jatra Mahotsava.
