SCDCC Bank reports record ₹131.14 crore net profit for 2025-26, targeting ₹22,500 crore turnover for the current fiscal.
The South Canara District Central Cooperative (SCDCC) Bank on Saturday, April 4, announced posting ₹131.14 crore net profit and a total turnover of ₹20,226.19 crore for the financial year 2025-26.
Both the turnover and net profit have created records among all DCC Banks in the State, SCDCC Bank president M.N. Rajendra Kumar told reporters here. Enthused by the robust performance, the bank has set a ₹22,500 crore turnover target for the current fiscal, he said.
Mr. Kumar said the total turnover has witnessed 16.74% year-on-year (y-o-y) growth (₹17,366.68 crore in 2024-25) and the net profit has witnessed 18.78% growth (₹110.41 crore). The net non-performing assets (NPA) have decreased from 2.42% to 2.21% during the period, he added.

The Bank president said that SCDCC Bank has been at the forefront in deposit collection despite the fact that it does not receive deposits from either the Union or State governments. Through its 113 branches, the bank collected ₹9,264.64 crore in deposits, registering a y-o-y growth of 17.53%. In the advances sector, the bank has lent ₹9,766.75 crore during the year, including ₹2,156.59 crore towards short-term crop loans, ₹183.46 crore towards medium-term farm loans, and ₹7426.7 crore towards non-agricultural purposes. The total outstanding loans amount to ₹10,961.55 crore, he added.
Mr. Kumar also said that the bank has consistently been registering 100% repayment of crop loans for the past 31 years. With 1,104 cooperative societies as members of the bank, it has a share capital of ₹554.08 crore and a working capital of ₹15,027.66 crore. It had ₹12,765.99 crore working capital in the previous fiscal.
