RPF seizes 10.12 kg of unclaimed cannabis worth ₹5.06 lakh from a train in Mangaluru.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel of Southern Railway’s Palakkad Division on Monday seized 10.12 kg unclaimed cannabis worth ₹5.06 lakh in Mangaluru.
A communique here said that during a search, the RPF team, led by inspector Manoj Yadav, found an unclaimed baggage in one of the general coaches of train No. 12601 Chennai Central-Mangaluru Central Mail on its arrival on Platform No. 1 at the central.
The team seized the item and handed over the same to the Karnataka Excise Department, it added.
