Railway Protection Force personnel attached to Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., and the District Police conducted an awareness programme about dos and don’ts in the Railway premises at Udupi Railway Station on Monday.
During the programme, passengers and the public were informed about the dangers of suspicious or unattended objects. They were advised not to touch or go near such items and to immediately inform the authorities.
People were also guided to call the Railway Helpline 139 or the Police Emergency Number 112 if they notice anything suspicious. The staff explained how these helplines work and how people can download and use the emergency apps.
