Prime Minister Modi cancels Europe tour amid India-Pakistan tensions, including Nordic Summit in Norway, official sources confirm.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's three-nation tour to Europe has been called off in view of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, official sources said on Wednesday (May 7, 2025).
Mr. Modi was scheduled to travel to Croatia, Norway and The Netherlands from May 13 to 17.
The Prime Minister was scheduled to visit Norway to attend the Nordic Summit.
The visit has been called off, the sources said.
The respective countries have been informed about the decision, they said.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
