MES Mampad College leads Calicut University C Zone arts festival with intense competitions and diverse cultural events.
MES Mampad College, Mampad, was in the lead with 156 points when competitions became intense at the Calicut University C Zone arts festival at EMEA College of Arts and Science at Kondotty on Wednesday.
Calicut University Campus was in the second position with 139 points, and PSMO College in the third position with 128 points. The host institution was in the fourth position with 65 points.
Large crowds turned up to enjoy such events as Oppana and Thiruvathira.
Competitions in 14 events, including 11 individual and three group items, were completed on Wednesday. The arts festival will conclude on Thursday.
