With an impressive pass percentage of 92% in the II PU examination, Kodagu district has secured the third position in the State. The district has improved its ranking from fourth place last year to third this year, reflecting a steady academic rise.

Out of a total of 4,745 students, including 1,898 boys and 2,847 girls, who appeared for the examination, as many as 4,380 students cleared it. This includes 1,752 boys and 2,628 girls.
A notable highlight is that 13 colleges in Kodagu achieved a 100% pass rate, with all their students successfully clearing the examination.
In the Science stream, Bhashitha K.D. of CI PU College, Ponnampet, topped the district by scoring 594 out of 600 marks.
In the Commerce stream, Sinchana Prasanna of St. Michael PU College, Madikeri, emerged as the district topper with 597 marks. She is also among the State toppers in the Commerce stream.
In the Arts stream, Fathima S.A. of Bharati PU College, Shanivarasanthe, secured 592 marks to emerge as the district topper.
