Vijayanand, a 1992 batch IAS officer, who is at present Special Chief Secretary, Energy Department, has been appointed Chief Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh in place of Neerabh Kumar Prasad, who will be retiring from service on attaining the age of superannuation on December 31, 2024, according to a G.O. issued on Sunday.
