Priyank Kharge criticizes Amit Shah's remarks on Ambedkar, emphasizes importance of embracing Ambedkar's principles for dignity.
Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge, to a question on Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s recent remarks on B.R. Ambedkar in Parliament, said it was as if the BJP leader was “bitten by a rabid dog”.
Mr. Kharge said, “I don’t know whether or not one can go to heaven after each of the seven lifetimes after chanting god’s name. I can, however, firmly say that one can get a life of dignity and self-respect in this very lifetime if one embraces Ambedkar’s principles.”

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
