I will be back in the BJP soon, says Yatnal

Suspended MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal plans to rejoin BJP once B.Y. Vijayendra is removed, as assured by national leaders.
“I will be back in the BJP soon. Senior national leaders in the BJP have assured me that I will be readmitted to the party once B.Y. Vijayendra is removed from the post of State unit president,” suspended MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal said in Vijayapura on Monday.
He was responding to a claim made by Vijayapura MP Ramesh Jigajinagi that Mr. Yatnal will never return to the BJP.
“Some people tend to think that my suspension is permanent and that I will never come back to the BJP. They are wrong. They will all be surprised. I will be back in the BJP soon. I am in direct contact with the BJP national leaders. They have assured me that I will be readmitted after Mr. Vijayendra is replaced with a good leader,” Mr. Yatnal told reporters.
“I have never gone to any local leader asking him to help me out. Nor will I ever go. If I have campaigned for the BJP during Lok Sabha polls, it is to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and not any MP,” Mr. Yatnal said.
He said that the former Minister K.S. Eshwarappa met him recently to discuss issues related to Hindutva and not for any political reasons.
