Harry Potter actress, Katie Leung, revealed that she faced racist attacks from fans because of her role in the films recently. Katie portrayed the role of Cho Chang in the much-loved series. She claimed that publicists had asked her to deny what was happening in case she was ever asked. During her appearance on an episode of a podcast called Chinese Chippy Girl, Katie said that after her casting in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which came out in 2005, was announced, she started seeing racist messages from fans online.
