Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu visits Nellorepalem village to distribute pensions, offers support to tribal family in need.
Ahead of meeting at Narampet, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited Nellorepalem village in Atmakur mandal in SPSR Nellore district to distribute NTR Bharosa pensions on Thursday.
As part of ‘Pedala Sevalo Prabhutvam’ programme in ST Colony, Mr. Naidu spoke to Ch. Susmita, a tribal woman who lost her husband and was receiving widow’s pension from the State government. He personally gave her NTR Bharosa pension amount.
After speaking to her brother and their parents, Mr. Naidu assured support from the government to their family. He directed Nellore District Collector O. Anand to offer DSC coaching to Susmita, and to provide a drone to her younger brother, who has completed ITI, for agricultural purposes.
He also asked the Collector to take steps to ensure that Sushmita’s five-year-old daughter, Chetrika, was admitted into a Gurukul school. Along with Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, he took selfies and photos with the family.
Similarly, he spoke to other tribal people in the colony, who expressed their happiness over the Chief Minister’s visit. Some people submitted petitions to him on various issues. Mr. Naidu directed the Collector for immediate resolution of their problems.

After mandating pet dog licensing and microchipping, Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) bids to do the same for cattle to curb stray cattle issues and man-animal conflicts in the streets. The civic body has moved to make it compulsory for cattle owners to obtain licenses for their animals across all zones.
