Water bottles selling for $40 at Kabul airport as hapless Afghans continue to wait for evacuation

Prices of essential items like food and water have skyrocketed near the Kabul airport premises. According to a Reuters video, an Afghan said, water bottles are being sold for $40 each.

Even a day after the multiple blasts outside the airport, thousands of Afghans have returned to the airport to fight a hopeless battle to flee out of the country.
