A traffic constable's quick thinking and CPR training save a CISF jawan's life on Patna's busy streets. A video of the heroic act has gone viral.
A video shared by Bihar Police has gone viral, showing how a traffic constable sprang into action when a CISF jawan suddenly collapsed in public. The incident, which unfolded in the middle of a crowded street, could have easily turned fatal, but timely intervention made all the difference.
According to the post, Constable Anjani Kumar Gaurav immediately assessed the situation and suspected a cardiac emergency. Without waiting for medical help to arrive, he began performing Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) right there on the road.
What followed was a crucial window of seconds that changed everything. Within half a minute of administering CPR, the jawan showed signs of recovery and began breathing again, effectively pulled back from the brink in the middle of a public space.
The video, shared by Bihar Police, carried the caption: “#BiharPolice Always With You. With you in every crisis, dedicated to you in every situation. Your safety, our topmost priority.” The clip has since been widely circulated, drawing praise for the constable’s presence of mind and training.
