In a video that has gone viral on social media, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police can be seen rescuing locals stranded across an overflowing mountain river in Uttarakhand.
Locals stuck across an overflowing mountain river for hours were saved by Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel on Wednesday. The villagers were stuck at an altitude of 12,000 feet near Milam in Uttarakhand. In the nail-biting clip, the officers of the 14th Battalion carried out the rescue of locals, which included three men and one woman. They were rescued at around 2pm.More Related News
