TIRUCHI The Tiruchi district administration has made arrangements to inoculate postnatal mothers after an official communication from the State came out with guidelines on administering COVID-19 vaccine. The Directorate of Public Health has drawn up a plan to organize special camps, and also reserve doses for post-natal and lactating mothers. Following the delivery of a new consignment of COVID-19 vaccines to the district, 1,000 doses of the vaccine were given to 14 blocks in the district. Of that, 200 doses are to be reserved for postnatal and lactating mothers.
