A woman from Kentucky, in the United States, claimed that her house is possessed by the spirit of a little girl. She had recently purchased the house but was left distressed with the hauntings in her property.

Do ghost stories give you sleepless nights? Well, then you should definitely not read this one because it gets scary. A woman from United States' Kentucky claimed that her house is possessed by the spirit of a little girl. She had bought the house recently and she was spooked for the first time when she heard a child’s voice call out “hello” from a nearby empty room.

The haunting has only worsened over the last couple of days. Now, she can hear the footsteps of someone walking down the stairs and personal items falling from shelves.

“I have a demon in my house and I need help. I didn’t know it was a demon at first but it got worse and worse when my husband left for work for a couple of months,” she told the Mirror.

“The girl started to become more present, with footsteps, pounding, stuff falling, it became worse. I had someone mow my lawn. He said ‘how many kids do you have’, I said none yet! His eyes got big and said “oh I was wondering because I kept hearing a little girl laugh in your house before you came home. It has been terrifying; I keep waking up at 3 am like wide awake with no explanation,” she further added.

Even her pet dog has started being affected by what’s happening in the house. “I hear knocking on my door randomly. My dog has stopped eating and keeps sitting in front or behind me, keeps walking up and down my room, and lying in front of my bedroom door. I hear things being knocked over and I feel like I’m going crazy,” the homeowner said.

When things went out of hand, the woman called the local church for assistance.
