Sha Davis took to Facebook to narrate the whole incident and his post has gone viral online.
In today’s dose of heartwarming content, we have a post that will totally melt your hearts. A food delivery person’s day was made after a customer offered him the food he had ordered. The post was shared on Facebook by Sha Davis, a man based in the US and has gone viral online, winning the hearts of netizens.
Actually, what happened was that Sha Davis ordered some food for himself but forgot to change the address to his new one. He ordered the food at his old address in Iowa instead of the one in Maryland. The food delivery agent texted Sha informing him that his food had arrived. Upon noticing the mistake, Sha asked the delivery person to enjoy the meal. But, what he didn’t know about was how he had just made the agent’s day.
The delivery agent informed him that it was his late brother’s birthday and, because of Sha, he was able to have lunch with him. The place where Sha had the order delivered was the same place the agent’s brother was laid to rest. So precious, no?
“I wanted to thank you again. It’s my brother’s birthday today and he is laid to rest not far from where you had me take this delivery. I am having lunch with him today because of you. You have no idea how much that means to me. I truly appreciate it,” said the delivery person in the message.
“So I forgot to change my address on my chipotle app so I told the driver to keep it because the old address is back in Iowa. I was deadass mad at first but after reading this I’m happy this happened,” reads the caption of the post.
