A powerful video has emerged on social media in which a Ukrainian girl can be seen playing violin in one of the bomb shelters.
Ukraine remains in the middle of chaos ever since Russian forces invaded the country on February 24. Loud air raid sirens, explosions and missile attacks by Russian troops have triggered fear among Ukrainian citizens. In this situation, people have rushed to metro stations and bomb shelters to save themselves from regular attacks by Russia. Now, a powerful video has emerged on social media in which a Ukrainian girl can be seen playing violin in one of the bomb shelters.
The video was posted on Twitter by Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Monday, March 7. The violinist, who couldn’t be identified, is seen playing for a group of refugees who have also taken refuge in the same bomb shelter. She can be seen playing composer Mykola Lysenko’s Nich yaka misiachna, which translates to “What a moonlit night”.
