Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, which premiered on July 2, concluded on September 25. Choreographer Tushar Kalia was announced the winner. The 12th season of the stunt-based reality show was shot in Cape Town, South Africa, a few months ago. Social media influencer Faisal Shaikh AKA Mr Faisu was the first runner-up, while actor Mohit Malik was the second runner-up of the show. In one of the episodes, there was a fierce fight between Rubina Dilaik and Jannat Zubair. This took place in the Lock and Keys task. When Rohit Shetty asked the name of the contestant who should be eliminated, a total of nine players took Rubina's name and said that she didn't make any effort in the task. The players said that Jannat won this task while Rubina could not even open the locks. In response, Rubina said, 'I had told Jannat the sequence of the lock.' This made Jannat angry and a war of words broke out between the two.

Mohit Malik blacked out while performing a stunt involving a helicopter during the semi finale for Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. In the weekend episode, Mohit performed a challenging stunt which involved a lot of action. The actor was seen jumping from pillar to post to eventually win it. Mohit said that it was one of the toughest stunts to perform on the show. It also led him to a total blackout post its completion. Mohit told IANS, "On the day of the stunt I was anyways a bit unwell and on tablets due to feeling feverish. But it was the semi finale stunt shoot day and I knew I had to give the stunt my 100 percent! The stunt as you'll see on television was a massive one."

He added, "Though the minute I jumped into the water from the helicopter, my body somehow went into shock and I could not remember how I did the stunt! I won the stunt, but I had no memory of how I performed it I was taken to the hospital but everything was such a blur that I had no idea about what was happening around me."

Rubina and Kanika had an argument while doing the ostrich task on KKK 12. When host Rohit Shetty asked Rubina why she didn't appear happy after winning the task, the latter replied that the task doesn’t matter to her but honesty does. Rubina further said that Kanika cheated on her by searching how to tame an Ostrich on the internet using her mobile phone in the washroom. Kanika denied the allegations to which Rubina lost her cool and said it would be embarrassing if she proves it on TV.

Pratik Sehajpal, who competed alongside Chetna Pande in one of the tasks, refused to obey stunt rules. This enraged host Rohit Shetty. He said that if Pratik continued breaking the rules, the stunt will be cancelled. Pratik initially refused to listen but was obligated to do so after receiving reprimands from Rohit Shetty.

The finale episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 was shot in Mumbai recently. Ranveer Singh and the team of Cirkus were special guests on the show. The Top 5 contestants pitted against each other were Tushar Kalia, Rubina Dilaik, Jannat Zubair, Faisal Shaikh and Mohit Malik. Tushar won the finale task and took home Rs 20 lakh prize money, a Maruti Swift car along with the winner's trophy.
