Hollywood star Ryan Gosling praised Hrithik Roshan and his iconic alien character Jaadu from Koi...Mil Gaya. During promotion of his upcoming film Project Hail Mary, he also hinted at a potential crossover.
Hollywood star Ryan Gosling just had a full-blown Bollywood fanboy moment – and it involves Hrithik Roshan and everyone’s favourite alien, Jaadu. During a recent interaction, the Hollywood star admitted he’s “jealous” of Hrithik for Koi...Mil Gaya and even pitched a wild crossover with his own on-screen alien, Rocky.
The light-hearted exchange took place as part of promotions for Gosling’s upcoming sci-fi film Project Hail Mary, in a video shared by Sony Pictures India. What began as a routine conversation quickly turned into a fun, cross-cultural moment that fans can’t stop talking about.
Hrithik kicked things off by pointing out their unusual common ground. “We are perhaps the only two actors who have really close friendships with these cute little aliens. You have Rocky, and I have Jaadu. I don’t know if you’ve seen a film I did called Koi...Mil Gaya,” he said.
A curious Gosling admitted he hadn’t seen the film yet but was instantly intrigued. “I want to see it, that sounds great. What is it? Is it an alien?” he asked.
Explaining the iconic character, Hrithik described Jaadu as a magical, child-like alien created using a mix of CGI and puppetry. “Jaadu is like a child, full of wonder, someone you just want to hug and protect. ‘Jaadu’ literally means magic,” he said.
Gosling’s response was pure admiration. “Well, now I am jealous,” he quipped.
