Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Friday (December 13, 2024) said had it not been for the Lok Sabha election results, in which the BJP scraped through to victory, the government would have started work on changing the Constitution. Senior BJP Leader Rajnath Singh hit back at the Congress and said the contribution of several leaders in the making of the Constitution was deliberately ignored, asserting that a particular party always tried to “hijack and appropriate” the framing of the Constitution.
Actor Allu Arjun has been detained by Chikadpally police of Hyderabad on Friday (December 13, 2024) morning in connection with the stampede at Sandhya Theatre, at the premiere of Pushpa-2, that claimed a life. A few hours after he was detained, the husband of the woman who died in the stampede at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad issued a statement that he is ready to withdraw the complaint lodged with the police. Now, Telangana High Court granted interim bail to actor Allu Arjun and two others who were arrested earlier in the day for four weeks.
