The Tamil Nadu government has extended the lockdown by another week, till June 14 6 am, in a bid to curb rising COVID-19 cases in the State. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Saturday, however, announced some relaxations. According to a State government press release, stand alone retail provision, vegetable, fruits, flowers and meat shops will be allowed to function between 6 am and 5 pm. Wholesale trade alone will be permitted in fish markets and abattoirs.With the Prajwal Revanna sexual abuse case taking new twists every day, JD(S) State president and former Chief Minister H.D.
