Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has condoled the death of six persons in a fire that broke out in a private hospital in Dindigul on Thursday night. The CM also instructed authorities to ensure medical treatment to those who were injured in the incident and were hospitalised.
In a statement, Mr. Stalin announced a solatium of ₹3 lakh to families of each of the deceased. He also announced a compensation of ₹1 lakh to each of those who sustained serious injuries and ₹50,000 to each of those who suffered minor injuries.
