Priyanka Gandhi Vadra set to take oath in Lok Sabha after winning Wayanad by-election, joining siblings as MPs.
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is likely to take oath in the Lok Sabha on Thursday (November 28, 2024). She won the recent byelection to the Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency.
Party leaders from Wayanad on Wednesday (November 27, 2024) handed over the election certificate to Ms .Vadra and conveyed their best wishes. Photos released by the Congress showed the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi offering sweets to his sister after she received the certificate.
With her entry into Parliament, three members of the Gandhi family are now MPs. While the siblings are Lok Sabha members, Sonia Gandhi entered the Rajya Sabha after opting out of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
