Priyanka Chopra's late Daughter's Day post is too special. The actress shared a picture with her daughter Malti and a picture of herself with her late father Ashok Chopra.

This Daughter's Day was incredibly special for Priyanka Chopra. This was the first time she celebrated the day with her eight-month-old baby girl Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Earlier this year, the actress welcomed her daughter with husband, singer-actor Nick Jonas, via surrogacy. The couple is always mindful about not revealing the face of their child. Marking Daughter's Day this year, Priyanka Chopra shared an adorable picture with Malti along with a throwback picture of herself dancing with her late father Dr Ashok Chopras. Priyanka lost her father in 2013.

Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram stories to share a collage of two pictures. Along with it, she wrote, “A day late but it's always International Daughter's Day in my book (sic).” She also added Stevie Wonder's song Isn't She Lovely to her Instagram story. In the first photo, Priyanka is seen cuddling her baby close. In the second photo, the actress is seen dancing with her dad Dr Ashok Chopra.

Check it out:

Priyanka Chopra is all set for her next Hollywood project, and it has an Indian connection. The actress will be seen in a romantic comedy where she will be playing the role of a Punjabi woman. Priyanka will star alongside Mindy Kaling. This marks their first collaboration. While talking to Forbes, Kaling revealed why her chemistry with Chopra is extremely fun, "I have this movie with Priyanka Chopra, she’s Punjabi Indian from India and I’m an Indian American Bengali girl from the East Coast. It’s so different and that’s what makes our dynamic so fun together."

Priyanka's Citadel will also release soon. Starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra, the Citadel franchise is an action-packed spy series with compelling emotional angles. The project is backed by Amazon and helmed by the Russo Brothers of Avengers fame. Its Indian series will be developed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK of The Family Man fame. The makers had described Citadel as a “multi-layered global franchise with interconnected local language productions from India, Italy and Mexico.” Amazon had called the US version the “mothership” of the project. Citadel shoot was wrapped up in June 2022.
