Poonam Pandey's ex-husband Sam Bombay hits back. Says 'She has no idea what molestation is'

Poonam Pandey's ex-husband Sam Bombay has now shared his side of the story after the actress accused him of domestic violence. Sam claimed that Poonam had no idea what molestation meant.

Poonam Pandey has often levied allegations against her ex-husband Sam Bombay in Ekta Kapoor's show, Lock Upp. The ex-couple, who got married in September 2020, had an ugly break-up soon after Poonam accused Sam of domestic violence. For the first time now, Sam Bombay has shared his side of the story. He claimed that he is the one who got abused throughout their relationship. He also said that Poonam had no idea what molestation meant.

In Lock Upp, Poonam Pandey has often spoken up about Sam Bombay's physical violence on her after their marriage. For the first time, Sam hit back at her. In an interview with The Times Of India, he said that Poonam had accused him of assault and molestation on their honeymoon. But a few days later, she called him and said “she had no idea what molestation is.” He also hinted that instead of being guilty of physically assaulting Poonam, it was him who was the victim of domestic violence. “Millions of men are suffering and they have no way to get out of this. I have been abused throughout my relationship.” he said.

Sam Bombay said, "Let me tell you that she charged me with molestation and sexual assault on our honeymoon. And, this happened within a week of our marriage. An FIR was lodged. A few days later, she called me back and said that molestation is a big word and she had no idea what molestation is. It is beyond my comprehension how one can be charged with molestation on his honeymoon. Later, she took back the charge. As I said, nobody will believe the man; whatever he says doesn't matter."

Born on January 27, 1984, in Dubai, Sam Ahmed Bombay belongs to the Hindi film fraternity and is a director, producer and editor. He completed his schooling from the Jebel Ali School in Dubai. He graduated from the University of Dubai. He has worked as the Regional Executive Creative Director in a marketing communications company VMLY&R. He has also worked as an ad-filmmaker with celebrities such as Deepika Padukone, Tamannaah Bhatia, Allu Arjun and Yuvraj Singh, among others. Sam directed Befikra, a romantic music video featuring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. He even directed Vidyut Jammwal and Urvashi Rautela-starrer music video Gal Ban Gayi.

Meanwhile, Poonam Pandey has appeared in Kannada and Telugu movies such as Love Is Poison and Malini & Co. Amit Saxena's 2013 film Nasha marked Poonam Pandey's debut in Bollywood.
