Multiple international flights remain cancelled at Mangaluru Airport on March 4 due to airspace closure amid regional conflict.
Air India Express operated two flights between Mangaluru and Muscat on Tuesday, while flights, both arrivals and departures, between Mangaluru and Doha, Dubai, Kuwait, Dammam, and Abu Dhabi stood cancelled due to airspace closure in view of the war in West Asia.
The Air India Express flight (IX 817) from Mangaluru to Muscat carried 143 adult passengers and four infants, while the flight, which landed in Mangaluru from Muscat (IX 818), had 162 adult passengers and 7 infants, airline sources said.
Meanwhile, flights (both arrivals and departures) between Mangaluru and Dubai, Kuwait, Dammam, and Abu Dhabi continue to be cancelled on March 4, Wednesday. There will be no Mangaluru-Jeddah-Mangaluru flights on Wednesday.
