Officer pays surprise visit to PU exam centres in Dharwad

District CEO Bhuvanesh Patil conducts surprise inspections at Dharwad PU exam centres, ensuring transparency through webcasting and monitoring.

District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Bhuvanesh Patil paid a surprise visit to several examination centres in Dharwad district on Tuesday.

After reviewing the arrangements at the centres he spoke to media persons and said that to ensure transparency and discipline during examinations a webcasting facility has been set up at the Zilla Panchayat office, along with a control room, to monitor activities in all 43 examination centres in the district.

“All centres are being closely monitored from the control room to ensure smooth conduct of the examination,” he said.

He stated that examinations are going on in a peaceful and well-organised manner without any confusion.

Meanwhile, students informed the officials that adequate arrangements have been made to enable them to write the examinations confidently and without fear.

The CEO interacted with examination officers and staff at various centres and reviewed adherence to guidelines issued by the Pre-University Education Board. He instructed officials to take precautionary measures to prevent any malpractice during the examinations.
