The duo tied the knot as per Malayali wedding rituals in the morning and are tying the knot as per Bengali wedding customs in the evening today, January 27. Their pre-wedding ceremonies such as haldi and mehendi took place yesterday, January 26, in Goa. For those wondering, the couple is doing things differently and will host their sangeet night tomorrow, January 28. After getting married as per Malayali wedding rituals, Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar are now getting married as per Bengali traditions. Now that you have already seen her dressed as a Bengali bride, we bring to you, exclusive deets from their sangeet ceremony that will take place tomorrow, January 28. We have already shared with you that Mouni and Suraj will dance to Varun Dhawan's First Class from Kalank. A source shared exclusive details with IndiaToday.in, on Mouni’s performances at her sangeet ceremony tomorrow. The newly-married actress will turn on her Pushpa mode and groove to Oo Antava from the film. Other performances lined up are Bijlee and a solo number for the actress.
A source close to the couple told IndiaToday.in, "They [Mouni and Suraj] are doing something different. Their sangeet will take place on January 28, after their wedding. Mouni and Suraj will dance to Varun Dhawan's First Class from Kalank. Their dance is choreographed by Rahul Shetty of Dance India Dance fame."
Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar officially posted pictures from their wedding. Sharing the same, Mouni wrote, “I found him at last .. Hand in hand, blessed by family & friends , We re married!!!!!!!!!!! Need your love and blessings 27.01.22 Love, Suraj & Mouni (sic).”
