22-year-old mechanic arrested for sexually assaulting 7-year-old girl near his garage in Bengaluru, charged under POCSO Act.
The Srirampura police have arrested a 22-year-old mechanic for allegedly sexually assaulting a seven-year old girl after luring her with candies near the garage he was working in, on Monday.
The accused, Parthiban, allegedly lured the victim, who is a nearby resident, and took her to his house in Okalipuram, before sexually assaulting her.
When the girl returned home crying, the parents took her to the doctor, where sexual assault was confirmed.
Based on the complaint, the Srirampura police arrested the accused, charged him under the POCSO Act, and remanded him in judicial custody.
