Damages worth Rs 1.5 lakh were caused after a fist fight broke out during a wedding in Kerala's Alappuzha on Sunday afternoon. The reason behind the clash is so bizarre that it may come as a shock to you. A person was denied 'Papadam' during the wedding feast.
Papadam is the much-sought-after crunchy, savoury food item during the wedding feast along with sadhya mostly.

Fifteen people were booked after the Kareelankulangara police intervened. Three people were injured in the clash. The injured included the auditorium owner Muraleedharan (74) and guests Johan (21) and Hari (21).
The auditorium owner who rushed to the scene was hit on the head and was admitted to a private hospital near Thattarambalam.
The incident has garnered enough attention on social media with trolls and memes around 'Papadam'. The latest in the list is Kerala's Education Minister V Sivankutty, who posted a picture on his social media account of Kerala's traditional delicacy, Sadhya, with pappadam being highlighted. The picture says, "What Sadhya without Papadam?"
