‘Thappad se darr nahi lagta sahab, pyaar se lagta hai!” a dialogue from Salman Khan’s film Dabangg which is familiar with pretty much everyone. Now, YouTuber and social media influencer Gaurav Taneja used it to take a cheeky dig at his wife Ritu Rathee. The reason, you ask? Well, it was his wife Ritu who had organised his birthday celebrations at the metro station in Noida’s Sector 51, following which he was arrested.

The YouTuber was arrested after his followers gathered at the metro station to celebrate his birthday but things took a U-turn after hundreds of fans flocked there and caused a massive ruckus.

Now, after he received a bail, Taneja took to Twitter and used Salman’s Dabangg dialogue to take a dig at his wife. “Thappad se darr nahi lagta sahabBiwi ki surprise planning se lagta hai..#birthday,”he tweeted on July 11.

Taneja was detained for creating a stampede-like situation inside the metro station.
