The wife of a former Ukrainian MP tried to cross the border and enter Hungary with millions of dollars and euros in cash. However, she was stopped by the border guards and forced to declare the same.
The wife of former Ukrainian Member of Parliament Kotvytskyy reportedly attempted to flee the country with 28 million dollars and 1.3 million euros in cash stashed in suitcases.
She tried to escape war-torn Ukraine and enter Hungary via Zakarpattia province. However, she was caught with the money at the border by the Hungarian border guards and was forced to declare it, NEXTA media organisation reported on Monday morning.
