Dhanush and Arun Matheswaran’s new film has been titled Captain Miller. Producer and director Karan Johar sent his good wishes to the duo.

Dhanush's upcoming film will be directed by Arun Matheswaran of Rocky and Saani Kaayidham fame. The film, which will be a pan-India release, has been titled Captain Miller. The Dhanush-starrer has been announced through a very intriguing video, and now we can't wait for it to release! Dhanush shared the exciting announcement on social media recently.

Dhanush was last seen in director Aanand L Rai's Atrangi Re. The love story features Dhanush, Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. The film skipped theatrical release and premiered on Disney+Hotstar on December 24, 2021. Dhanush will now be seen on Captain Miller. Sharing the announcement video, the actor wrote, "Captain miller .. This is going to be so exciting. Super kicked to work with @ArunMatheswaran and my brother @gvprakash @SathyaJyothi (sic)." In the short video, we can hear a very intriguing whistle sound in the background. Dhanush can also be seen riding a bike and wearing a scarf on his face. Captain Miller is a period drama set in the Madras Presidency of the 1930s and 40s.

Karan Johar is also intrigued by the new announcement video as he sent best wishes to Dhanush and Arun Matheswaran. Taking to his Twitter handle, KJo shared the video and wrote, "This is going to be EPIC!! Congratulations @dhanushkraja and to the entire team of this potential cinematic marvel #CaptainMiller @ArunMatheswaran @SathyaJyothi @gvprakas (sic)."
