
COMEDK UGET for engineering seats in Karnataka on May 9

COMEDK UGET on May 9 offers engineering admissions in Karnataka; over 1,40,000 candidates expected. Apply online by March 16.
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) and Uni-GAUGE-2026 entrance examination, a combined online examination for admissions to over 150 engineering colleges in Karnataka and over 30 private and deemed universities across India, will be held on May 9.
This unified examination is held for colleges affiliated with the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA) and Uni-GAUGE member universities offering professional courses such as BE/BTech programmes with around 22,000 seats in the year 2026-27.
The computer-based test will be conducted in 200 cities across India, spanning 400 test centres. Over 1,40,000 students are expected to appear for the examination. Candidates from across the country are eligible to apply.
Applications can be submitted online at www.comedk.org or www.unigauge.com between February 3 and March 16.
