
CM Revanth Reddy announces ₹1 Cr ex-gratia for policemen killed in Maoist blast

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy offers ₹1 crore ex-gratia to families of martyred policemen, along with housing and job support.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families of police constables Vadla Sridhar (29) from Kamareddy district, T. Sandeep (27) from Ghatkesar in Medchal-Malkajgiri district, and N. Pavan Kalyan (23) from Kanigiri in Prakasam district of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, who were killed in a Maoist landmine blast and subsequent firing incident in the forest area of Mulugu district.
Directing officials to extend full support to the families of the martyred policemen, Mr. Reddy announced a special ex-gratia of ₹1 crore to the kin of each deceased constable. Of this, ₹80 lakh will be provided under the Bhadratha Scheme.
Additionally, each family will be allotted a 300-square-yard house site and a government job to one eligible member of the families.
