Chennai Corporation introduces facial recognition for attendance

Biometric face detection devices installed at 315 locations
The Greater Chennai Corporation has launched facial detection system for registering attendance of employees.
According to a press release, the system for biometric face detection has been installed in 315 locations.
Conservancy workers will use the system for registering attendance, the release added.
