Legendary Australian cricketer Shane Warne passed away from a heart attack on Friday, March 4. He was 52. The devastating news shocked Warne’s fans all over the world and within seconds social media platforms started buzzing with heartfelt tributes to the iconic cricketer.
Several netizens took to Twitter to share posts about Warne’s illustrious cricket career. Many shared videos that crowned Warne as the ‘King of Spin’.
Dairy brand Amul has also shared a doodle as a tribute to the late cricketer. Featuring the Amul girl bowing to a cartoon of Warne, a text inside the doodle reads, “Shine on Shane”.

Shane Warne died of a heart attack despite the repeated attempts of four friends who battled to save his life for 20 minutes, according to Thai police. Warne made his Test debut in 1992 against India and by the time he ended his 15-year international career, he had established himself as one of the greats of the game.
