Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha hosted a wedding reception in Lucknow recently. The actress made a dreamy entrance to Afreen Afreen as Ali looked on smiling.

Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha's wedding ceremonies and receptions were all things grand. The much-in-love couple also held a reception in Lucknow recently, and must we say, each and every snippet is simply dreamy! In a new video, we see Richa Chadha making her entrance at the reception venue to Sabri brothers singing Afreen Afreen. The look on Ali Fazal's face in beyond words.

The reception was hosted by Ali Fazal’s family and it began with an energy-packed Qawwali performance by the Sabri Brothers. Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal shared a cute moment at their Lucknow reception too. Ali looked on lovingly as Richa made a dreamy entrance to Sabri Brothers singing Afreen Afreen in the background. It made for a perfectly romantic setting. The lovebirds took the twinning route and complemented each other in breathtakingly beautiful creations in ivory shade. While Ali wore an ornate sherwani, Richa exuded old-world charm in a gharara and a heavy medley of traditional jewels. Richa looked gorgeous in a heavily-embellished traditional ensemble comprising a short kurti, gharara and a matching dupatta.

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s spokesperson's statement read, “This is to clarify that Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal were legally married for 2.5 years when they registered their wedding. Currently, they are celebrating their union with friends and family, as was already mentioned by them on 29th September in their statement. They have hosted their wedding receptions and parties in Delhi and Lucknow and are now doing a final event with a reception tonight in Mumbai.”

The statement continued, “They wanted to celebrate both their Punjabi and Lucknowi culture. The details of their celebrations were curated to thoughtfully reflect their persona and their heritage. The clothes, too were designed with special touches being added through heirloom jewellery and custom-made trousseau including a saree custom made to reflect their love story.”

Both Richa and Ali have been sharing updates of their festive ceremonies on social media. The two dated for many years after meeting on the sets of Fukrey. The couple opted for an eco-friendly wedding ceremony and have stayed away from any restrictions on guests.
