A.K.M. Higher Secondary School, Kottur, achieved the distinction among aided schools with a 100 per cent pass rate and the largest number of students appearing for the SSLC examination in the State.
All the 1,455 students who wrote the SSLC examination at the Kottur school were qualified for higher education. It was the seventh time in a row that the school achieved the distinction.
While 186 students secured full A Plus, 69 got A Plus in nine subjects. School manager K. Ibrahim Haji, ward councillor M. Mohammed Haneefa, headmistress K.K. Saibunnisa and deputy headmistress K. Mariya congratulated the students.
