AI semicon, quantum computing to play key role in making Telangana $1 trillion economy
Emerging sectors such as AI semiconductors and quantum computing will be among the key drivers in transformation of Telangana into a $1 trillion economy in the next decade, Industries and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu said here on Friday.
“Our vision is to make Telangana a $1 trillion economy in the next decade. Key drivers of this transformation include a strong focus on AI semiconductors and quantum computing. To support this growth, we are focused on talent development through initiatives like Young India Skills University,” he told a conference organised by AI company Phenom.
The emphasis will be on a workforce that is trained as well as future ready. Organisations like Phenom, a unicorn from Hyderabad, remain pivotal to build smarter work places and enabling individuals perform to their full potential, he said. Transforming the future of work with AI, automation and talent experience was the theme of the IAMPHENOM India conference.
CEO and co-founder of Phenom Mahe Bayireddi, president, COO and co-founder Hari Bayireddi spoke. Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra delivered a special keynote in which he shared insights on the power of mental resilience, the company said in a release.
