A letter written by a 9-year-old Ukrainian girl to her mother left netizens teary-eyed.
The brutal Russian invasion has ravaged several cities of Ukraine and the terrible visuals and photos prove that. Many people were forced to leave their homes, jobs and even their loved ones behind to seek refuge elsewhere. Many children were orphaned and the list of atrocities is too long to describe.
Amid such horrifying tales, a heartbreaking letter written by a 9-year-old girl from Borodyanka in Ukraine has left netizens teary-eyed. Shared on Twitter by Anton Gerashchenko, the Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the post shows the hand-written letter.
“Here's the letter from a 9-year-old girl to her mom who died in #Borodianka. ‘Mom! You're the best mom in the whole world. I'll never forget you. I wish you'll get in Heaven and be happy there. I'll do my best to be a good person and get in Heaven too. See you in Heaven! Galia xx’,” read the caption.
