Zomato has announced a 10-minute food delivery service which will start with four stations in Gurugram from next month onwards. Deepinder Goyal, the founder of Zomato, took to Twitter on Monday to share the new feature with his followers. “10-minute food delivery is coming soon on Zomato,” his tweet read. The latest 10-minute food delivery offering is called Zomato Instant.

Following the announcement, a backlash ensued on social media. The announcement raised several questions, especially about the safety of the ones delivering the food in a jiffy. Despite Zomato's statement stating that "we do not put any pressure on delivery partners to deliver food faster," people are not really convinced.
